I. Introduction

Packing slips are often a crucial component of eCommerce orders. Having them acts as proof of purchase and allows customers to accurately verify the contents of their package. 

Ultimately, there are two methods you can use to include packing slips in orders:

  • Method 1: Set up your store to automatically include them in all orders
  • Method 2: Include them manually on specific individual orders at your own choosing

This tutorial will cover both methods

Method 1: Include Packing Slips Automatically in All Orders

Step 1: Hover over the "Settings" gear on the top right-hand corner and click on "Stores". Then in the "Actions" column, click "View" to select the store you'll be making changes to from the list. 

Step 2. In the "Edit Store" section click on "Include packing slips" and then click "Save" on the bottom right

You're done! If you used this method, then packing slips will be included automatically for all orders coming from that store. Please note if you're doing multi-channel eCommerce and have multiple stores integrated with ShipMonk, you'll need to repeat these steps for each store. 

Method 2: Include Packing Slips Manually on Individual Orders

Step 1. Click on the "Orders" tab and search for the order you want to include a packing slip in. When you find the order, click on its order number which will send you into the "Order Details" page for that order. 

Step 2. In the "Additional Documents" section click on "Include Default Packing Slip".

You're done! A packing slip will now be included with that order. Please note that this if done manually, these steps will have to be repeated for each order you wish to include packing slips in. If you wish to have packaging slips included automatically, please refer to Method 1 of the instructions.
